She explained how a Bausparvertrag works and the benefits of the process which is a concept that is very specific to Germany and as a foreigner is not straight forward. By having Sabine on our side we were also able to buy the property without the need for a real estate agent which saved us 3% of our purchase price up front. After we bought the apartment she took the time to explain which insurances were relevant for us and what made sense given our financial situation.
